Here is the information from the committee for Day Camp. If there are any questions please feel free to contact me at either email firstname.lastname@example.org or cell 417-459-2340. Please have your Scout at Camp by 5:30 pm on Friday and 8:00 am on Saturday.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding over the past few days. The Day Camp committee has been working to reschedule the event and thankfully we have!
Day Camp will be held on Friday, June 20th from 6pm-9:30pm (registration opens at 5:15pm) and Saturday, June 21st from 8:15am- 6:15pm (registration beings at 8am). Opening ceremony on Friday will begin promptly at 6pm and the closing Flag Retirement will being at 9pm. On Saturday the opening will begin at 8:20am and closing will start at 5:50pm. I have attached a schedule of events.
We will be located at High Street Baptist Church (900 N Eastgate Ave), just north of the Scout office on Eastgate. High Street has PAVED parking and plenty of land for us to use! We are very appreciative to them for allowing us to use their facilities and we plan to have Day Camp there in 2015!
Refunds will not be given for this event. The Day Camp committee will be putting together kits for each rank that the boys will receive, if they cannot attend the reschedule date. These kits will include the take home items the boys would have received at Day Camp. Kits will be made when we receive the list of boys from each unit who cannot attend.
Additional youth cannot be accepted. We have already purchased supplies and t-shirts for current number of attendees and do not have enough time to order more.
We apologize for the inconvenience of having to reschedule Day Camp, but we are thankful for the new location and that everyone remained safe during the storms.
